01Quick start

LiveQue lets your audience request songs and tip you to bump their pick up the queue, all from their phone, by scanning a QR code. Here's the whole thing in five steps.

02Add your songs

On the Setup tab, under Song Library, there are four ways to build your list. Mix and match:

Import from Spotify

Paste any Spotify playlist or album link, hit Import, pick the songs you want, and add them. Fastest way to load a whole set.

Add Songs by Artist

Search any artist and pull in their tracks, handy for filling out a cover repertoire.

Paste a list

Have a set list in Notes or a spreadsheet? Paste it in, one song per line, as Title - Artist or Title, Artist (or just the title). It previews what's new versus already in your library, then adds them all at once. You can also drop a .csv file.

Add manually

Type a single title and artist and hit Add Song. Good for one-offs.

03Get paid

There are two ways for fans to tip you. You can use either or both.

In-app tips with Stripe (recommended)

In Get Paid with LiveQue on the Setup tab, tap Connect Stripe to get paid and follow the short setup (about two minutes). Once connected, fans tip you right inside the app with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or a card, and it lands in your bank automatically.

Backup tip links

Stripe is how you get paid. Tips through Stripe land in your own bank account, and because we can confirm they arrived, a tipped request moves up your queue automatically.

In Payment Settings you can add a Cash App $cashtag as a side option. Money sent that way goes straight to you, but it happens outside LiveQue, so we cannot see it and it will not move a song up the queue.

04Set your tip amounts

Under Tip Options on Setup, choose the amounts fans can tap (for example $2, $5, $10). Keep them low enough to be easy and high enough to be worth it. A few quick taps is the whole idea.

05Your QR code

The Card tab holds your personal QR code. Screenshot it, print it, or put it on a table tent and stand. Anyone who scans it goes straight to your live request page. No app to download.

06Run a live gig

• Start New Gig (Setup or Live) clears the queue and starts a fresh session. Do this at the top of each show.
• The Live tab is your command center. New requests appear in the Live Queue. Paid tips sort to the top and are flagged with the amount.
• When a tip lands you'll see a gold confetti burst on screen. No sound, so it won't interrupt your set.
• Tap Play when you start a song and Done when you finish it. Quick Add lets you drop your own songs into the queue.

07What your fans see

They scan your QR code and land on a simple page with your name and song list. From there they can:

• Request a song for free, or
• Request + tip to bump it up the queue, paying with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or a card.

After a tip they get a little confetti moment and a quick "rate the show" prompt. Easy enough that anyone can do it in a few taps.

08Your gig recap

After the show, LiveQue emails you a recap: tips collected, songs played, requests, set length, the crowd favorite, and your ratings for the night.

It sends itself when a gig has been quiet for a while, and again whenever you tap Start New Gig (you get the previous gig's recap first). There's also an Email recap button on the Live tab if you want it on demand.

09Ratings & feedback

Fans can rate your show (one to five stars, with an optional note) right after they tip. Your running average and recent notes show up under Audience Ratings on the Setup tab.

10How tips & payouts work

In-app tips run on Stripe. When a fan pays, the charge goes through Stripe and the money is transferred on to your own connected account. LiveQue takes no cut of it. Payout timing (usually a couple of business days) follows Stripe's normal schedule, which you control in your Stripe dashboard.

Queue priority: a paid request jumps ahead of free ones and sorts by tip amount, so the biggest tips rise to the top. Free requests still get their place in line.

A Cash App $cashtag sends money to you directly through that app. It happens outside LiveQue, so we cannot see it and those tips will not bump a song up the queue.
